Juan García López

Juan García López, expert in Sports Biomechanics, is a Full University Professor in the area of Physical Education and Sports for the Faculty of Physical Activity and Sports Science (INEF), University of León (Facultad de Ciencias de la Actividad Física y del Deporte, Universidad de León, ULe). He graduated in Physical Education from the INEF in 1997, and obtained his PhD in Physical Activity and Sports Science from the ULe in the year 2000. His working experience includes over twenty years of university teaching in subjects related to the biomechanical analysis of sports (technique and materials), and eighteen years of research. Due to his teaching experience, he became the biomechanist of the Euskaltel-Euskadi cycling team and consultant to other professional cycling teams (Trek Factory Racing, Astana, Relax-Fuenlabrada, etc.). He also taught on the High Performance Cycling Sports Master's degree programme at the University of Murcia (Universidad de Murcia, UMU), has been the Cycling Sports Director of Biomechanics at the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation (Real Federación Española de Ciclismo, RFEC) and specialized in long distance triathlon (Spanish Triathlon Federation) (Federación Española de Triatlón, FETRI). Since October 2014 he has been entrusted with the responsibility of the biomechanical services of the High Performance Centre of León (Centro de Alto Rendimiento Deportivo de León, CAR)
